Luxury Vinyl (LVT/LVP) flooring is the fastest growing category in the flooring market. It offers extremely realistic visuals that are often indistinguishable from real organic materials like hardwood, making it an excellent budget-friendly option. As a plastic product, it is waterproof, allowing it to be laid in wet areas off limits to laminate. While LVT is a flexible core product that thus requires more consideration during installation, the visuals and price more than make up for it.

Benefits of Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring
Easy Click-Lock Installation
Luxury vinyl click lock products are created with a unique edge like a puzzle piece. Two sections of flooring “click” together and are “locked” firmly to one another. Click lock flooring floats; it’s not attached to the subfloor. As a result, this is a simple, glue-free installation that is DIY-friendly.
When using click lock products, the material must “acclimate” inside at room temperature before you begin your installation. Otherwise, expansion, contraction, or warping may occur. The acclimation time varies by material, so consult the documentation that comes with your flooring.
LVT can be used on ground-level or above-ground subfloors, including those made of plywood, OSB board, concrete, tile, or radiant heating systems. The subfloor must be clean, level, and free of bumps or loose nail heads before installation. A thin underlayment can also be used to decrease noise.
Easy Care & Cleaning
Vinyl flooring is made entirely from plastics bonded together, making it extremely durable, easy to clean, and water resistant. It does not require particularly gentle treatment, but tough stains may require a specialty vinyl flooring cleaner. To avoid these, clean up any spills or accidents immediately.
